Who is eligible for Microsoft student pricing?
Users that qualify (as defined below) are eligible to purchase only one product of its type, per academic year. For example, during a given 12 month period, the user can purchase both Microsoft Office and Microsoft Expression Web, but not two copies of Microsoft Office. Software can only be installed on one machine at any one time.

Students
Full & Part-time registered students of an educational institution as defined below:

i) An academic or vocational institution recognised by the Department of Education; or

ii) A not-for-profit full-time teaching institution/organisation which is non-academic and/or non-government recognised.


Faculty and Staff
Full and Part time faculty and staff of an educational institution as defined below who are on the institutions payroll:

i) An academic or vocational Institution accredited by the Department Of Education; or

ii) A not-for-profit full-time teaching institution/organisation which is non-academic and/or non-government recognised.

Appropriate Identification
You are not required to provide evidence to us when purchasing under this agreement (although you must provide the name of your education institution on the checkout page and 3rd level students should provide their college email address), however please note by purchasing under the Microsoft Student Select agreement you are confirming you are an eligible student or teaching member of staff and we may check, and we reserve the right to request evidence of your eligibility at any time.
